🎶 GOTHENBURG welcomes everyone 🎶 to an afternoon at Chalmers Campus, where the latest developments in energy communities across Europe and the Nordic region will be explored.Chalmers Area of Advance in Energy is hosting a seminar on the current state and future prospects of energy communities.
📍 The EU has introduced regulations that enable property owners to build shared energy systems without involvement from the actors who previously held monopolies on energy distribution between properties.

A fantastic day for the seminar: "Energy Communities – State of Play in Research and Beyond!" The event was a huge success. The room was filled with experts and enthusiasts from energy sector, all focused on the latest developments in energy communities across Europe and the Nordics. We came away with many relevant insights and enjoyed incredibly fruitful discussions on topics ranging from digital innovations to augmentation of existed energy infrastructure with new local energy systems (energy hubs, energy sharing, local energy communities and many other overlapping concepts).
